Little Islanders is a mum-owned ethical clothing label for children aged 2 to 5 years, born of a desire to connect with heritage.
We offer contemporary childrenswear with an urban-island aesthetic, thoughtfully designed for little dreamers and explorers, and lovingly hand-made with 100% cotton artisanal hand-loomed filipino weaves.
Every Little Islanders collection is produced in a small limited run through an ethical production process.
Our clothes are made with hand-loomed filipino fabric sourced from various parts of the Northern Philippines, where artisans have been engaged in weaving since pre-hispanic times, with the knowledge and craft passed down from generation to generation. By using these luxurious and durable hand-loomed fabric to make our clothes, we do our part to create sustainable livelihoods for the artisans and weaving communities in the Philippines who are still engaged in this work.
Whilst our fabric is sourced from the Philippines, our clothes are produced in Hong Kong by a small sewing workshop, whose profits are channelled towards supporting grassroots and community work in the poorer areas of Hong Kong. Little Islanders is proud to indirectly contribute to this work as part of our production process.
We hope that you and your little ones will enjoy our clothing as much as we have enjoyed making them for you.
